Refund Policy

Travokash Private Limited

Effective Date: 21-Sep-2026
Last Updated: 21-Sep-2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs refunds relating to travel services booked, arranged, coordinated or facilitated through Travokash Private Limited (“Travokash”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By making a booking or payment through Travokash, the customer acknowledges that refund and cancellation eligibility may depend upon the applicable booking conditions, supplier policies, payment method, financing arrangements and applicable law.

1. Refund Eligibility

A refund shall be processed only where the customer is contractually and/or legally entitled to a refund under the applicable:

  • Booking confirmation;
  • Quotation;
  • Invoice;
  • Cancellation policy;
  • Supplier terms;
  • Fare/rate conditions; and
  • Applicable law.

Payment of an amount to Travokash does not by itself create an unconditional right to a full refund.

Where a booking is cancelled, the refundable amount shall be determined after considering the applicable cancellation conditions, supplier charges, non-refundable components and other applicable deductions.

2. Cancellation & Indicative Refund Schedule

Unless different cancellation conditions are specifically mentioned in the quotation, invoice, booking confirmation or supplier terms, the following indicative cancellation framework may apply to the eligible refundable amount:

Cancellation before scheduled departureIndicative refund
60 days or moreUp to 75%
45–59 daysUp to 50%
30–44 daysUp to 25%
15–29 daysUp to 10%
Less than 15 daysnon-refundable
No-show / after departurenon-refundable

The above percentages are indicative maximum refund levels and are not a guaranteed refund.

The actual refund shall depend on the specific services booked and the applicable cancellation terms of the airline, hotel, tour operator, activity provider, visa provider, insurer, payment partner, financing provider or other relevant supplier.

Where a supplier's cancellation policy provides for different cancellation charges or refund conditions, the supplier-specific terms communicated for that particular booking shall prevail, subject to applicable law.

3. Refund Calculation

Where a refund is applicable, the refundable amount may be calculated as:

Amount Paid – Applicable Cancellation Charges – Non-Refundable Components – Supplier Charges – Applicable Fees/Deductions = Net Refund

The actual calculation shall depend upon the specific booking.

4. Non-Refundable Components

Depending upon the booking, the following may be non-refundable or partially refundable:

  • Non-refundable airline fares;
  • Special/promotional fares;
  • Hotel non-refundable rates;
  • Supplier deposits;
  • Visa/application fees;
  • Government/embassy/consular charges;
  • Certain activity or attraction tickets;
  • Insurance premiums where the insurer does not permit refund;
  • Processing/service charges where expressly disclosed;
  • Financing/EMI-related charges where applicable; and
  • Other amounts expressly identified as non-refundable.

5. Airline Refunds

Flight refunds are subject to the applicable airline's fare rules and cancellation conditions.

Where an airline controls or processes the refund, Travokash may coordinate the refund process but cannot guarantee the airline's processing time or refund decision.

Any applicable airline cancellation fee, fare difference, administrative charge or other supplier deduction may be deducted from the refundable amount.

6. Hotel Refunds

Hotel refunds are subject to the hotel's applicable cancellation and rate conditions.

Non-refundable hotel rates, deposits and supplier charges may not be recoverable.

Where a hotel or booking supplier imposes a cancellation charge, the applicable amount may be deducted from the customer's refund.

7. Holiday Package Refunds

For package bookings, refund eligibility may be calculated separately for each component, including:

  • Flights;
  • Hotels;
  • Transfers;
  • Sightseeing;
  • Activities;
  • Visa services;
  • Insurance; and
  • Other suppliers.

Cancellation of one component does not automatically make the entire package refundable.

The final refund amount shall be determined based on the cancellation conditions applicable to each component.

8. Visa & Government Fees

Visa, embassy, consular, immigration and government fees may be non-refundable according to the applicable authority/provider rules.

Visa refusal, rejection or delay does not automatically create a right to a full refund of the travel booking.

Any refundable travel component shall remain subject to its applicable supplier cancellation conditions.

9. No-Show

If a customer fails to utilise a confirmed service without completing the applicable cancellation procedure, the booking may be treated as a No-Show.

No-show bookings may be completely or partially non-refundable depending upon the applicable supplier terms.

10. Cancellation Close to Departure

Where cancellation occurs close to the travel date, cancellation charges may be substantially higher and the supplier may retain the entire booking amount.

The applicable cancellation terms communicated for the booking shall determine the refund, subject to applicable law.

11. Supplier Cancellation

Where an airline, hotel, tour operator or other supplier cancels a service, Travokash shall communicate the available options and assist with the applicable refund or alternative arrangement where reasonably possible.

The amount ultimately refundable may depend upon the amount actually recoverable from the relevant supplier.

12. Force Majeure

Where a booking is affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, airport closures, airline disruption or similar extraordinary events, refund and alternative arrangements shall be subject to the applicable supplier, insurer and government rules.

Travokash shall use reasonable efforts to assist the customer.

Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude any mandatory statutory rights available to the customer.

13. EMI / Financing Bookings

For bookings paid through EMI or financing:

  • Refund of the travel booking does not automatically terminate the separate financing agreement.
  • Interest, processing charges or other financing charges may be governed by the financing provider.
  • Any reversal or adjustment shall be subject to the applicable financing partner's procedure.
  • Travokash does not control the financing provider's processing timeline.

Where applicable, the customer should also contact the relevant financing provider regarding the status of the financing arrangement.

14. Refund Processing Timeline

Where a refund is approved, Travokash will generally initiate the eligible refund within 7–15 business days after the refundable amount is received or confirmed from the relevant supplier/payment partner, subject to completion of required verification and reconciliation.

The final credit to the customer's account may take additional time depending upon:

  • Airline;
  • Hotel;
  • Tour operator;
  • Other supplier;
  • Payment gateway;
  • Bank;
  • Card issuer; or
  • Financing provider.

Accordingly, the actual time taken for the refund to reflect in the customer's account may vary from booking to booking.

Nothing in this policy overrides a mandatory refund timeline prescribed by applicable law.

15. Refund Method

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method, where technically and legally possible.

Travokash may require verification of the customer's payment details or identity before processing a refund.

Where refund to the original payment method is not technically or legally possible, Travokash may request appropriate alternative payment details, subject to verification.

16. Duplicate / Excess Payment

Where a customer has accidentally made a duplicate or excess payment, Travokash may verify the transaction and process the eligible excess amount after reconciliation.

Any applicable payment processing or transaction charges that cannot be recovered may be treated in accordance with the applicable transaction terms and applicable law.

17. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with a bank/card issuer, customers are requested to contact Travokash and provide an opportunity to review the transaction.

Where a chargeback is initiated, Travokash may provide relevant booking, payment and service records to the payment provider, bank or card network, subject to applicable law.

This clause does not restrict any statutory right available to the customer.

18. Refund Request Procedure

A refund request should include:

  • Customer name;
  • Booking/reference number;
  • Passenger name;
  • Payment transaction details;
  • Reason for refund request;
  • Relevant supporting documents; and
  • Bank/payment details where required.

Refund requests may be submitted through:

Email: hello@travokash.com
Phone: +91 8076016565

Travokash may request additional documents or information where reasonably necessary to verify the request.

19. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for reviewing the applicable cancellation and refund conditions before making the booking/payment.

The customer should verify:

  • Travel dates;
  • Passenger names;
  • Passport details;
  • Hotel details;
  • Flight details;
  • Package inclusions;
  • Cancellation conditions; and
  • Refund conditions.

Any error identified by the customer should be reported to Travokash as soon as reasonably possible.

20. Specific Booking Conditions

Where the quotation, invoice, itinerary, booking confirmation or supplier confirmation contains specific refund or cancellation conditions, those booking-specific conditions shall apply to that booking, subject to applicable law.

Where there is a difference between this general Refund Policy and the specific written conditions provided for a particular booking, the specific booking conditions shall apply to that booking, subject to applicable law.

21. No Automatic Full Refund

Cancellation of a booking does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of the entire amount paid.

The refund, if any, shall be determined after considering:

  • Applicable supplier rules;
  • Cancellation charges;
  • Non-refundable components;
  • Payment/processing charges where applicable;
  • Financing/EMI-related charges where applicable; and
  • Other disclosed applicable deductions.

22. Deficiency, Non-Delivery or Material Variation

Where a service is not provided, is materially different from what was agreed, or there is a deficiency attributable to Travokash or a relevant service provider, the matter will be reviewed based on the booking documents, service terms, facts of the case and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory consumer right or remedy.

23. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude, limit or waive any mandatory statutory right or remedy available to a customer under applicable Indian law.

Travokash will comply with applicable consumer protection, e-commerce and other relevant laws and regulations.

The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require relevant refund/return and other consumer-facing information to be provided clearly and accessibly on applicable e-commerce platforms.

24. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory statutory provisions.

Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction available to the customer under applicable law, the courts and competent authorities having jurisdiction in Delhi, India shall have jurisdiction in relation to disputes concerning Travokash and its services.

25. Refund Policy Updates

Travokash may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in services, supplier conditions, technology or applicable law.

For an already confirmed booking, the applicable Booking Documents and booking-specific refund and cancellation conditions shall govern the transaction, subject to applicable law.

Any updated policy will be published on the website with the applicable effective/update date.
